I entered the world left at the foot of a bed, not able to help myself at nine days old, with the world looking back at me—the unknown, uncertainty—with breath in my little lungs, dependent on an unknown being to decide what would be done with my little, frail body. Who would decide my destiny? How could I live and not die, not aborted? I was left at the bottom of the bed so that I could stay alive.
This is about learning to love through pain, growing up as a victorious woman in Jesus Christ. It is about making it through the storms of life, riding the waves of life, and holding on to the anchor of your soul.
Have a full understanding that God said, “He would never leave you nor forsake you! Be still and know that ‘I am God.’” Move forward. Don’t look back. There is nothing in the rearview mirror of life! Drive forward. Don’t look in the rearview mirror of life!
There are Stop signs of life, Yield signs, and Merge signs. Always listen to the voice of the Lord. He says in his Word in John 10:4–5, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice, and a stranger will they not follow, but flee from him: for they know not the voice of a stranger.”
Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.”
For the “cracks of life,” 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” You learn to give life to someone else and take it from them! Encourage someone else, not discourage them. Take your title of life; it has your name on it. Listen for the winds of life! It will tell you which way to go! You can do all things through Christ who will strengthen you.
